Science Careers for Women 2012

On April 19, 2012 as part of the Science Careers in Search of Women Conference at Argonne National Laboratory for upper level high school girls, a presentation and tour was high-lighted at HPCAT. Genevieve Boman (beamline associate) gave a presentation on high pressure science at HPCAT and her own science background and role as beamline associate.  Dr. Yue Meng (beamline scientist) headed a  tour at the 16BM-D (bending magnet beamline) hutch, where Dr. Maddury Somayazulu (research scientist) was conducting an experiment. Dr. Somayazulu talked with the girls about his experiment on single crystal diffraction of Xeno compounds.
