Yuri Beletsky's recent image of  the lunar eclipse at  Carnegie's Las Campanas Observatory has been published by NASA as the Astronomy Picture of the Day, October 1, 2015. The total lunar eclipse happened September 28, 2015. It was called  a supermoon, because it appeared 14 percent larger than normal and the eclipse made it appear red. Beletsky is an astronomer who regularly photographs the heavans at Las Campanas. See the NASA page
